Just your average Tamil girls oozing with melanin, owning their dark skin, empowering one another, rejecting beauty standards and loving themselves.
We are sick of your beauty standards. We are sick of being told we are pretty for dark skinned girls. We are sick of being told we shouldn’t wear certain colours because it wouldn’t suit our dark skin. We are just sick of being told that we should hate ourselves and live in the shadow of our light skinned sisters.

Colourism is about more than beauty standards.

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. LET’S CHANGE THE RHETORIC.
