in general Calling Out Girls On Being Bad Feminists is not a job for men to do

laughing because of the time a cis guy i dated told me to check my privilege when i was talking about my experiences.

laughing because he told me his being mistaken for being queer gave him the same perspective as actually being queer

laughing because he only started trying to see it from a different viewpoint after i dumped him

babylizard:

repeat after me

  • there’s nothing “slutty” or inherently wrong about posting nudes for attention
  • wanting attention is okay
  • being proud of your body is a beautiful thing
  • let’s stop perpetuating the idea that being open with your body/sexuality is somehow a shameful or negative thing because it isn’t
  • and if that makes me slutty or shameful then good i want to be the sluttiest slut of them ALL
  • kiss my cute butt

I want something else. I’m not even sure what to call it anymore except I know it feels roomy and it’s drenched in sunlight and it’s weightless and I know it’s not cheap. It’s probably not even real.

I am not offended by generalizations about white people or cis people.

fandomsandfeminism:

I’m not. If a PoC blogger gets fed up and types out a post about white people without clarifying that they meant “not all white people”, or a trans person posts about cis people without saying “not all cis people” I am not offended.

Do you want to know why?

Because…

i really really really really really wish i had this on little cards for people so i didn’t have to either swallow my irritation or expend energy i really need for the rest of my life.

reeeeeaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyy

I am not offended by generalizations about white people or cis people.
